At least they showed some heart and didn't let in an even more embarrassing scoreline, which if it was 46-0 at that point was quite possible.

The Wests Tigers team of 2-3 years ago would have folded in such a fashion. Another positive you guys could take is that you would hope this gets rid of any complacency about exactly where the development of the team is and shocks them enough to keep working.

They aren't the first team St George have smashed this year and certainly won't be the last if they keep Barret, Gasnier and co on the field.

Sheens will give you guys more and more to cheer if they be patient with him.

What saints showed today was a real finals footy type game, uptempo, error free and class players shining. We showed today that were defenetly not a genuine chance in the finals. We simply had no answers.

Still Sheens did say you wont see this side really take shape till late this season and that 2005 will be the year we challenge seriously.

A bad loss today, yes, but we just gotta cop it on the chin and move on, i know the guys can play a lot better and will do so.
