FFS Burt attack teh ball will you. Two kicks and two tries and Burt made half hearted efforts to get to both kicks. You might still miss them but at elast attack the ball and don't be left wondering what could have been.

All in a solid first half best showing from the forwards for the year so far. Hope it continues, win lose or draw as long as they are putting in I'm happy.

Lol Burty can't do anything right, can he? The first kick was undefendable, a brilliant bit of work from Soward and a great show of courage from Hornby. The second one he probably could have taken, but he was badly outjumped by the Dragons player who had all the momentum.

The worst one IMO was Tautai's bat back when he could have fallen over for a try...

You're a bit harsh on the first one. How was Burty supposed to walk through the goal posts, they're not made of fairy floss.

"burts this, burts that."
"dont be harsh on burt..."
ffs, he is not doing anything wrong, but seriously he does very little to ignite our attack.
yes he's safe etc...
hayne to fullback

You're either blind or haven't seen the game (or didn't watch)...he played a big role in attack tonight, made some good runs, orchestrated a bust by Hayne and ran support all night, as well as chiming in to the line as a ball player on several occasions. Ultimately that support running lead to a try, too.

I don't expect him to walk through the posts and catch the ball but at least make an effort ot get it. Did Hornby stop and look at the posts? No he committed himself and ran into them and got the try. Burt has talent he just does not have heart. Watch how many times he stops and waits for his wingers to catch the high balls at the start of that second half. He is the fullback he should be taking the ball not making his wingers run 30 metres across the field to do it. If he committed to cathing the ball at the back as much as he showed he can when he chased that kick down and scored I would not criticise him.

That's the biggest load of sh*t I've ever heard...I can cop people questioning his ability, but the bloke bleeds blue and gold and has done for a decade

You are right Bazal, Hayne did it when the game was over and had no chance at wining, Burt did it whilst there was 40 minutes left in the game.

If anything, Burts instance was ten times worse.

Hardly, mate. He grabbed it in goal, began to turn, saw the chaser coming behind him, and decided to take the safe option rather than possibly risk dropping the pill and conceding a try...nice try though ;-)

LOL you are kidding the bloke never bleeds because he never puts himself in a position where there is a chance he might get hurt.
