In the past couple of weeks there has been to many threads that have started off ok but have ended in personality clashes and name calling ect that is not acceptable in this forum! I hate to just keep deleting stuff and warning members on here but I've been given a job by admin to make sure we stick to the rules whether, I or yourselves like those rules or not!
If you feel the need to bag a fellow supporter out for his opinions there is a section for that (TFC) where you are welcome to continue your differances or just hook into each other if you feel the need to do so!
BUT, I will continue to moderate this section the way I'm suppose to and although I'm not taking sides in anyway, will only warn those involved a certain amount of times before you run the risk of taking a holiday from these forums......hey, I don't agree with everyone myself and have even been guilty of dragging my disagreement into a thread with the odd name calling ect so I'm not being the Saint here and want to give everyone a fair go.......actually the good natured banter and voicing your disagreements to opinions ect isn't disallowed here....it's the name calling and personally insulting your fellow members that wont be tolerated!

Need I remind everyone of the warning above :roll: The other thread has been moved to the admin/moderator section to be looked over....until then, please lets try and be civil to each other and cut the crap out.....be nice to see a few more threads about the team we all support! :roll:

I appreciate your point, and my post wasnt just in relation to this post, it was as much in reference to the post in the Parra forums.
Not only did you offend me and my website but you also all out attacked us.

My point to you is simply do not paint everyone with the same brush. Not everyone at AE is like matabele, he is the most vocal but we have varying opinions and to judge an entire group on the basis of one persons character is an injustice.

For instance, it would be like me judging all o ME etc on you.
This is clearly not a clear and accurate protrayel of the people over there and the same for AE.

Just excersise caution before you post, it makes the world a better place and makes the forums a lot more enjoyable. We all know Manly need the fan base behind them at the moment and not bickering pointlessly between ourselves.


As for saying you would like to nail a woman, well thats fine in a sense. The criticism I think stems from the profiles on ME, where that kind of attitude is completely dissapproved of by the NRL as a whole. Boys talk at the pub is fine AT THE PUB.
However you have to realise that sometimes things you say will offend others particularly Matabele who has very strong ideals about women, myself also.

But as I said earlier, this is not my place to ban, I am the developer and an Admin here, and I am simply letting you both know that posts by both yourselves and others have been brought to the attention of the admin and mod team.

At any rate enjoy

well we arent, its like saying everyone from sydney is exactly the same etc.

Its a silly way of categoriing people based on an experience with one

I saw the post in question via the Parra forum.

With comments like that I can only suggest that Cliffy was given Manly FC true-supporter of the year status, coming out with such an outlandish statement.

I agree with you on that Cliffy.

BTW as to your question of where i was in 2002, I was working like a slave for a well known company wih no internet access.

I attended all but 2 games that season even though they were the BEAGLES.

Just because I am part of a site that questions everything and has a negitive view at times does not mean that I am not a supporter and have not supported the team for a long time.

Whilst I will never be able to say I travel as far as you do, I still love the Sea Eagles and always will follow them.

Nuff sad all!!
