[Heritage XIII]

Anyone else been watching the Fox Memorial club comp from Auckland on NITV? Tuesday nite at 10.30pm (QLD). Had the pleasure of watching Horwick Hornets v Otahuhu Leopards at local ground. Was good coverage from Maori TV.

Looks like it has only just started too.. So some summer RL to watch !

Would like to learn more about the Russian guy from Otahuhu. ( Not sure if is a immigrant or heritage player)

Dima moved to NZ at about 10 years of age. The story goes that his parents were in the circus and moved to NZ. He has aspirations to play for Russia, but the financials are difficult. I think he is focussing on the world cup qualifiers, rather than forgoing thousands for the Euro Champs B.
