Looks like there was a bit of love for the game at some stage in NZ. Good to see some footage of tour games, because as we've seen in the last month's or so, the Game's Tsars have f**ked over International footy..

The game became huge about 1989 leading to the Warriors joining the Australian competition.
the 1989 GF was the first GF they broadcast live in NZ, infact they held the news back because the game went to extra time.
