Yes, we do. We are fully aware we have the worst forward pack in the comp. We do however have excellent outside backs so unless you think Gordon is a prop there's absolutely no way he would walk in the the Knights side. In fact about 8 would have to go down before he got a look in.

Gordon showed a lot of promise a couple of years ago but he's hardly a bloke you'd get excited about if you signed.

Our backline at their absolute best is right up there but I don't expect those who live within their own little bubble to be entertained by the idea. Of course, I'm not saying Gordon is a bad player, I would love to have him, but he wouldn't get a start at this club unless we lost the plot and sacked first grade and reserve grade backs.

All this Mata'utia whinging is quite quality. Looking forward to seeing the kid absolute tear it up and seal a position for years to come. Can't stop the inevitable so just sit back and enjoy it

I'm not really that bothered, but to be picked for Australia after 7 games wouldn't you expect him to be an absolute stand out every week? I watched a couple of those and he looked alright but I wouldn't have said he looked particularly awesome either.

I can't remember fans being so disinterested in a international competition like this in quite sometime.

Hopefully the double header goes a long way to fixing that.

Seems like the only interesting aspect to talk about, other than Hayne's shocking decision is some of the selections that have been made. Can't say I'm a fan of Sione Mata'utia being selected at this stage. I believe he's got a big future in him and would rather him than say a Croker or Idris but to select him over Chambers seems like a stretch.

I'm not the biggest Will Chambers fan but he deserved to be selected after his Origin debut and shouldn't have been omitted for a guy who just turned 18 and has only played 7 games so far. I was already uncomfortable with the prospect of selecting Johnston, the selection of Sione only complicates matters.

Still, it's an interesting talking point and honestly would love to see him kill it and his rise become one of the stories of the tournament.
