Anyone would be better than Ian Milward. How about Mick Potter for starters...he was screwed over by the Tigers and seemed to have got their young guns improving more so than Taylor.

You know that is a good idea, is he available?

Yes he is available and was interviewed recently on the Sunday Footy show. He claimed he wanted to get back into coaching in the NRL and said he was prepared to accept an assistant role bringing plenty of experience. I also read that Nathan Brown rates him highly and would like him on his team at the Knights as his assistant, if he gets that gig.

Mary wont be comfortable with any attacking coach who may be vying for his job, so Potter is out.

It's probably only Johns. Even Matty Johns may be ok, didn't he do some work with the storm a few years back?

Forget Joey, what time would he have? 2MMM , Ch9 and Manly duties, plus he lives in Manly, I doubt he would have the time to travel down to the Gong?

Chris leikvoll ??

Apparently a black belt in TKD........looked soft (Compared to Craig Smith!), but I wouldn't wanna mess with him.

In regards to our attack, how hard can it be? Under Bennet we had one sweeping play move to the left, with 2-3 variations;
- either involving Hornby feeding the ball to Creagh or Cooper,
- or Boyd feeding the ball to Creagh/Cooper or just going himself.

It can't possibly be that hard for these guys who have all been probably playing since they were 5 years olds.

If Nathan Brown doesn't get the Newcastle job, get him back as an assistant coach, attacking coach and talent scout.

Brownie as talent scout and attacking coach would be a perfect fit.

Doubt he would be happy to come given the way he was treated prior to leaving.

If the club is going to operate on a merit basis system, the current attacking coach should be hosed out of the joint.
