It will upset those who care about inflation.
According to Wiki, Avatar ranks third with inflation raising to 2009 figures (behind Titanic and Star Wars).

Those figures are not adjusted no. Movie studios don't like talking in adjusted figures.


regardless its a tremendous effort. I look forward to the first stories of mass suicides by Pandora addicts when this movie is finally taken out of the cinemas.

ticket sales would be a better indication, any idea of any websites that hold that type of data?

Wherever it was on Wiki is now gone, dang.
Either way, Avatar (from memory) was sitting around $1.85b, Titanic was somewhere around $2.4b and Star Wars was about $2.7b.

seriously, go see it. it's a very decent movie, but the 3D really elevates it to a surreal experience.

you're missing out big time if you don't see this one at the movies.
