That was an awesome effort from the team today... Looked 400% better in attack and defence! The ref's were giving Manly all the ball and 50/50 calls in the first half but we still managed to get on top (that last try of the half was BS, how was he not with-in 10 metres when he got the ball of the knock back?).

That said though we did lose the ball alot (although again "helped") and certainly lost the "wrestle" again on the ground... Otherwise great effort!

Notes to Campese (still not there but better!), McCrone, Mogg, and Waddell, MASSIVE improvements... As was everyone basically but noted marks of improvement for these four considering how poor, or not there, they were last week (well Waddell was OK, just a massive step up this game).

Not surprising Mogg was better since we played him in his proper position!

It's still a worry that we can't put teams away -- we had every opportunity to win that 30-16 or 36-16, not 24-22. We must be the only team in the NRL that can't get a repeat set even after forcing a drop-out...

And yes, our defence was better, but how good was it really when our opponents scored 4 tries?

Still, solid effort to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the season!

This season is reminding me of 2001/02 when we won all the games we werent suppose to win and lost all the ones we were suppose to win. Except we arent getting flogged when we lose like we did in those years.

I had you guys in the top 2 a few weeks back, just seems to have fallen apart lately but you guys have the talent to challenge for the title. No idea how we keep pulling these wins off especially away from home. Now if only we won at home more.
