On the hottest day of the season to date, the Axemen traveled up to New Jersey to take on the Turnpike Titans. Right from the beginning, the match would prove to be high scoring. Three tries were scored between the two teams within the first 10 minutes of the game making the score 12 to 6. After that, Jacksonville's championship caliber experience kicked in. Using their backs, the Axemen were able to run away from the Titan's strength in size and get the ball out wide. As they say, playing defense all game is much more tiring than offense, and it showed by the end of the match. The heat and Titan's defense proved to be no obstacle to the Florida team. The Jacksonville Axemen were able to dominate the game and defeat the Titans 62-6. The lone try for the Titans was score by Mark Ruzinski and the conversion kicked by Deezah Fepuleai.
