The Backline Strategy will most probably involve Williamson starting at 6, getting through all the hard work of the softening up period and then bringing Walker on.

I really hope they get another centre. Hoppa's past it.

Turnstyle!

If he improves his defence, hje'll be a solid enough 1st grader.

That backline with our forward pack for next year...............It is hard not to be excited.I just hope the players performances next year match the fans hype for once.

When Manly where buying Kite, Kennedy etc, i still did not think you would go well next year simply that i did not rate your backline, but im loving it now with Moule, V.Anderson ( if its true ) Hicks and Donald and then Stewart, geez it looks alot better.

Ben harris is still a chance.

I have been told that a player has been signed who is still playing in the semis and once they are finished it can be announced.

It was from a member of the coaching staff telling a mutual freind.

I guess it is Harris as the dogs need ot make some room under the cap and will have to sign Tonga and SBW to new contract before Harris current one runs out.

Either Harris or Anderson will be great.

Both

I still think Mullane can come good, if he knuckles down in the off season and practices his passing and organisational play then I reckon he will go alright! If however we go through the first 5 rounds and he is still a dud then give him the chop!

He's a centre imo. And he's got the ability to be a damn solid one. Maybe a 5/8, but a halfback he ain't!

OK, i'll give you your 5 rounds with Mullane at 5/8 or 1/2back, but if he sucks ass, he will be riddiculed until my throat is hoarse, and be banished to PL forevermore.

If he suceeds, I will be very happy, because Manly will be going well, and will put a "Mayor Quimby was right about Jye Mullane" thing in my sig :D

1 Stewart
2 Donald
3 Harris
4 Anderson*/Stephenson
5 Hicks
6 Williamson
7 Monagham

If we sign Anderson and Harris we are looking good, we have plenty of money in the bank now so it's just down to using it!

Seems is if Harris is a no go.

But Michael Witt looks set and Ashley Alberts is going to be at preseason traing having had an op on his shoulder.

1. Brett Stewart
2. Scott Donald
3. Ashley Alberts/Paul Stephenson
4. Chris Hicks/Paul Stephenson
5. Hoppa/Chris Hicks
6. Michael Witt
7. Michael Mongahan

Also added Adam LUCHETTI a young winger/fullback from wests wollongong and Sharks JF half Burns.

A young and good backline to go behind our pack of

8. Jason King
9. Chad Randell
10. Brent Kite
11. Anthony Watnough
12. Steve Menzies
13. Ben Kennedy

With Kylie L, Solomon, Willow, Sam Harris, Glenn Stewart, Kane Cleal and Shayne Duney all fighting for a spot on the bench

:D

Potentialy a very exciting side and I hope for once they live up to that potential.Alot of new faces and I think it will take a while to get it together,as long as we improve on this years performance I will be happy. The bloke under the most pressure is Hasler and it is a must he carries the end of season form into next year, otherwise it is bye bye for me.
