1. Brett Stewart
2. Chris Hicks
3. Steve Bell
4. Steve Matai
5. Michael Robertson
6. Jamie Lyon
7. Matt Orford

I put it to any rugby league fan has there ever been a faster backline in the history of rugby league, i doubt it.

None of them compare in turnstyle qualities to the backline that boasted Ben McDougall, The Koala and Dot Donald.

*Shudders*.

It's a great backline, that should score a ton of points if the forwards do thier job, that's for sure.

Scott Donald was the worst defender I have ever seen !!! Ben Walker is Sonny Bill compared to him.

He struggles in the ESL as well !!!

I can pick one turnstyle out of them it would have to be Robbo at fullback we all remember his efforts against penrith at brookie. But on the other hand he is a very solid defender on the wing.

I actually think Robbo is a very solid defender full stop mate. He's got balls of steel. I know, we've all seen them !!! Hehehehe....

Robbo is a decent defender out on the wing, but he was being played out of position at full back for the match at brookie against the panfers. he was pretty terrible out there, and got caught flat footed a couple of times by wesser and presto.

gotta say, not too many turnstiles in that backline. matai was pretty bad in 2005, but he had an awesome 06 and is pretty phenomenal now in defence. expect to see some more big hits from him this year!

Haha. Graham is a noted speedster, but he wouldn't be able to compete with Stewart or Hicks - especially over 40 metres Hicks is a demon.

But you lost the plot when you mentioned Colin Best.
