No bad luck about it. We were crap once again and Dragons were sensational. We wouldn't have stopped you guys even if we'd had a 100% improvement.

I'm no more depressed than I was 2 weeks ago - saw this one coming a mile away. The depressing part is that I found myself looking at the ladder and working out that we're still mathematically capable of getting the spoon.

games in which your team is in a must win situation to make the semis tend to pan out in such a manner. you either win a tight one or get smashed because you're playing too desperately.

the huge factor tonight was field position in the first half & a massive possession advantage to the dragons in the second. you guys were straight knackered.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we cannot perform under pressure. Some teams thrive on desperation (eg Warriors), but we just fall apart. Going in to the game, we were already playing with the pressure of having to win, then as soon as we got behind we panicked.
Finch's kicking game was abysmal. I know that I have no idea how to coach a football team, but why we left out Soward to start Crocker in the halves I cannot understand. We wouldn't have won the game, but it might have been a bit closer.

There's no doubt im hurting, im hurting bad ... but Saints performance tonight was majestic. I havent seen a performance like that since 2002, when we beat the minor premiers 44-0. Congratulations. I think you guys will win it, finally. You would have even smashed the Broncos tonight.

How do you work that out - or are you going to say "everyone knows it"?

Can you come up with a decent arguement before I slam you again?

Just to let everyone else that know nothing we have lost 17 players since our 2002 premiership and it is showing.

Oh can we find out what jealous club you follow - is it a team that is a one man team that have won a couple of games and could take out the wooden spoon this year -if it is fancy being below Souths

To the rooster fans, regardless of the result on Friday night you still have 17 of the best NRL players in the competition and with results going your way ie canberra, warriors, manly & sharks all losing, you are still in the same position as you were before this round (apart from your for and against).

I still have a feeling that you can make the semis, and as a Saints support regardless of Friday night, the Roosters and Doggies are two teams I would not like to be facing in a sudden death semi.
