After a good first up win, the Bags go up against Balmain, a team that is very hard to beat on their day. Its a tough start to the year, and if the bags can rack up victories against both newwie and Balmain, than i will be more than confident of a good season

Hass still hasn't answered an SOS, and given the problems of last week, im going to have to sit him out for the moment until he returns to the field from injury. Get well soon Hassy!

I'm alive!

My hotmail account was filled up with crap that put it up to the 100% limit. So I just let it go and didn't access it for 28 days. I made the mistake however of accidentally accessing it a couple of days ago and now I have to start the process again.

The reason for my abscence was a combination of factors. Most notably when we first got notice of when the Opening Match was to be played I thought it was an eternity away. It was like being back at school and getting an assignment that wasn't due for 3 months. I'd invariably manage to leave starting it till the night before. The problem is that I wasn't at the proverbial school this time around- being absent from the forum.

Why was I absent? Well, I suppose apart from the fact I've been a little busy, all my internet time has been channelled into a little something called the "Cricket World Cup". With Footy Season yet to start I've been hovering around my hardcore cricket forum.

In fact, I only came on here because I saw the "That's My Team" ad for the NRL and it reminded me that Footy was starting again.

My non attendance of training sessions and actual matches means some disciplinary action had to be taken Being "rested" from the side is only fair when you consider I've been doing an Andrew Walker and going walk-about. I'm willing and able on the bench however and will be ready to spring into action if the team is struggling come next Friday Night.

Just a message to Roopy. I hope you realise you've got big shoes to fill stepping into the Vice-Captain's role. It's not that I was any good there - it's just that I have really, really big feet!

P.S. Are we holding meetings at Henson? If I need a password I might need to come into a chatroom to get it. For obvious reasons you can't email it to me at the moment.

i have to do this for a number of reasons,,,,
1, i am extremly busy at the mo
2,we are moving so so i have to arrange a job and somewhere to live.
3,there is no way on this earth i will be part of anything which lifts that sick fat pricks profile on the net.
post 12 was vomit inducing and if he is left in charge ( or ceo as his over inflated ego puts it),i bet this comp will be f**ked before its finished.
it is now officially doomed to fail.

anyway,,,i really dont think my pieces of literary genius would score terribly well anyway...

This was over a year ago. matto's unhealthy bias against the LWOS Bluebags was evident throughout last year and imo, he should immediately disqualify himself from any association with the Forum Sevens.

The originator of the competition, Paul Dunn, publicy agreed with me on Grandstand last year that matto has his own agendas. I got the impression that we were welcomed in 2003 and that matto wouldnt be able to influence the competition.

Now he runs the bloody thing.

Now having said all that, the best thing we can do is ignore him. Its just a game afterall. Hopefully, matto will take himself less seriously and let the competition run its course without intervention. Sort of like when Pigs fly.

personally i've withdrawn my team from the comp, if they chose to play without me they will probably get the high marks they deserve so I might put that to them. However as long as I'm a part of the team Matt will ensure they get marked down.
