Just thawed out from Sunday- JJJEEESSSUUSSS a chilly day.
Bailey- didn't even look out wde. His discipline IS the worst in NRL. But he does butter up. A shame he's not big enough for the back row. Dogs forwards look for him cause he jumps into a tackle and is easily discarded. I think thats why you usually see him second or third in.
Merritt- Hung off the game winning break. He took half a step then you could literally see him decide -nah I don't tackle. Another half step and he at least grabs the guy(right in front of me). He knew , his head went down. Committment/decision making like that(and Bailey) is keeping us in the also rans.
Rieck- it may have been tough in the bottom corner(first half) but like Merriott no committment. He should be given raffle tickets the way he offers his hand as they run by him. He doesn't watch the ball and seems to have very rudimentary game reading skills unless it is open and we have the ball.
Our wings are very ordinary in defence. They don't need to be our premier defenders but they do need to at least acknowledge it IS part of the game.
Well done Simmo on a very difficult day, didn't drop one bomb. Made them go wide where they knew there was least resistance.
Well done Biter we looked much harder when you were on. PG ditto.
I wish the screen had fallen on the Dogs back row.
