Just thawed out from Sunday- JJJEEESSSUUSSS a chilly day.

Bailey- didn't even look out wde. His discipline IS the worst in NRL. But he does butter up. A shame he's not big enough for the back row. Dogs forwards look for him cause he jumps into a tackle and is easily discarded. I think thats why you usually see him second or third in.

Merritt- Hung off the game winning break. He took half a step then you could literally see him decide -nah I don't tackle. Another half step and he at least grabs the guy(right in front of me). He knew , his head went down. Committment/decision making like that(and Bailey) is keeping us in the also rans.

Rieck- it may have been tough in the bottom corner(first half) but like Merriott no committment. He should be given raffle tickets the way he offers his hand as they run by him. He doesn't watch the ball and seems to have very rudimentary game reading skills unless it is open and we have the ball.

Our wings are very ordinary in defence. They don't need to be our premier defenders but they do need to at least acknowledge it IS part of the game.

Well done Simmo on a very difficult day, didn't drop one bomb. Made them go wide where they knew there was least resistance.
Well done Biter we looked much harder when you were on. PG ditto.

I wish the screen had fallen on the Dogs back row.

yep bailey's big enough for the back row - built the same as hindmarsh / fitzgibbon / kennedy et al

the guys got quality no doubt. we still need to develop a consistent style of team play for everybody to play their role properly

might do better if he just concentrated on forward play, halfway stuck thinking he should be helping out the backs / bludging away in the centres. but maybe that's the game plan stuey gives him ?

We need someone like et telling these heartless whingers how to tackle, or atleast stop the try illegally. Rieck has been out of position since day one last year and quite frankly couldnt tackle a three year old. Merrit also is dodgy at best in defence but did set up a try.

Bailey should be dropped for that mist try against the dogs (exaggeration). At the game it looked bad, on TV it looked worse! He had two men on the outside, with only Utai in defence so what did he do, ran at him then tried to offload #-o . Only one play but f**k that was stupid, cost us a 3rd back to back tries I believe
