A strong sevens side - I'm overjoyed we managed to pinch matt pethybridge off Ryde-Eastwood - he's a freakish tryscorer and will thrive on sevens

Heighno is also great - I was certain he'd be pinched by the wests tigers and nowland and barrow both have speed to burn.

also looking forward to seeing John Nash play as I think he'll star

the only real concern I have is of our captain getting himself sent off in the first couple of seconds ;-)

Brook, tell us about Nathan Lavers. I used to work with him but don't know him well nore his football.

That'd be right - pick one of the two players in the team I know virtually nothing about

Honestly I don't recall seeing him play so I guess until the sevens I'm as clueless as you.

He was in Flegg last year. Used to work at the Sydney SuperDome. Based on the northern beaches. There's a start for you.

yeah I honestly have no memories of him from flegg even though I watched most of the games.

I dunno if that means too much though - we had a strong team all-round and there were several players that had a tendancy to dominate the games, a lot of players who just performed solidly all year tended to fade into the background.
