I'm glad to see kelly back in PL (even though hooker comes as a suprise - but i'll wait and see how he goes), other than that only one real suprise in the PL side (and its a :( ) and thats charlie farah back on the bench (I was hoping we'd seen the last of him!!!

In flegg I'm over the moon to see Jaime Grant back and the rest of the side looks strong but we still are missing luke thompson - does anyone know whats wrong with him 'cause he looked fine when I saw him at the wests game? Still I'm a big fan of tim tobin who plays much the same role in the team so we should be able to cover

my only real concern is that both teams are still without a recognised goal kicker - hopefully samia takes over in PL (or jeff ) and barrow gets back soon for flegg!!

just a thought

ben galea hasn't been named despite being dropped from first grade

does anyone know if he's injured or not? cause it occurs to me that if he is fit he would fit very nicely into a hole left if jeff lima - playing second row this week not prop - were to get called up to the wests tigers...

Not sure Brook.

Will also have to keep and eye on props Lima and Small. If one doesnt appear in PL they could get the bench spot for WT.Seems some people think Paterson will step aside.

That is one good pack of forwards with plenty to come from the bench too. Maybe Charlie Farah will prove us all wrong - like Paterson might one day in first grade - but somehow I doubt either will happen. Peter Camroux picks a massive pack and then four forwards on the bench. Good stuff.

 he could be - its certainly a great pack :) :) (and yes we could easily spare one of small or lima from that side so things do look promising for them)

I hope Todd Barrow is back soon too - flegg really do need his kicking - does anyone know whats wrong with him? Or Thomo for that matter?

Brook, how is John Nash going for the Tigers?
I notice he is selected on the wing for Jersey Flegg. I've never seen him play on the wing, have only seen him play in the halves.

Nashy has been fantastic - along with brock hunter probably our most consistant in flegg - other sides just don't know what to do with him.

In games he's mostly been dropping back to fullback or moving into the centres - I haven't seen him spend a whole lot of time out on the wing in attack. He's looking REALLY good in the centres and keeps creating try-scoring oppertunities for chapman to bomb

I'd like to see him back in 5/8th again but the club is persisting with nowland atm - I'm not really worried about that 'cause jamie has all the skills to be a class 5/8th but he has been off his game so far this year and if he doesn't settle into the role within a couple of weeks I think the smart thing to do would definantly be to swap him back to the wing and bring nash closer to the action.

Hmmm? im thinking that Lima may come into the wests tigers side now, if sheens continues his ploy of not naming rookies he is going to play such as has been the case with Marshall and Harrison then Lima could be a late inclusion? the fact the bench goes 14 , 15, 17, 18......suggests a late change too.
