Who was the roosters 7 in the first half in flegg?

Just guessing, but I think Soward would of still been at 5/8 and the new Sharks recruit, Scott Porter, would of been Halfback.

Enoka was one of many young talented Kiwis to move across the Tasman from Wellington last/this year.

Blonde haired bloke, tackled like a demon, tough lookin little half, reminded me a little of Tommy.
He never shut up either
Definately a goer.

Did he have head gear? Porter was blonde, but he wore head gear in the Grand Final. He didn't seem to shutup then either, although playing 5/8, he was their goto man, same as Soward.

Julian,

Came to Newtown last year and has played Premier league, Bartercard cup and Jim Beam. Is a goer good luck to him.

We seem to get a few ex jets

He looked very impressive on the weekend and flegg have struggled for a decent fullback since simon moved to P/L so he could just be the answer we need.

The player your talking about was definatley Soward - I was speaking to a mate at work who was at the trial and happens to be Crocker's brother (I didn't know this until today) and he said Soward played a fair bit of the game and that players like Plum, Rose, Meredith, Merritt, Le Strange, Moke, the Pae Brothers all apperantly played against the Balmain PL side (lestrange played in the JF game as well)

He also mentioned that Moke could very well go on the open market as he wants to play NRL level fulltime by the start of next season and is apperantly good mates with some of the Balmain boys so who knows we could have Moke maybe one day playing for us - wouldn't that be great

Julian is a qulaity player and his manager Chris Orr sent him to us as he could not get him into a Flegg side. He was too young really to play with us and did well. He can play on and off the field and it is his off field efforts that can let him down before games.

He is a good pick up for the Tigers though very hard for his size and age.

Did Joab Hull play at all.

not really sure - where we were sitting you couldn't really hear the announcements so trying to sort out the players was mostly guess work

what position does he play?

The one who played for flegg when Waihape was off?

from memory he was solid but I couldn't tell you much

we do seem to collect good hookers don't we? Theres still Farlow too who I don't think played in the trial but I'd expect to do well this year
