Yeah it was and Balmain have lodged a formal complaint about the ref as well especially over the last penalty which cost them the game - but in saying that they should have never been in that position and going from the players said today Shepp was fumming afterwards and is still fumming today

Apart from that what impressed alot of the blokes the most in the PL match was Henderson in at hooker, who apperantly has played there for most of his footy years so maybe we might have another option for next year ?????

As bad as losing to the rip was, it was good to see how enthusiastic the rip celebrated the victory and it was obviously a game that meant more to them then it did to us. I thought we were always in control, but we made stupid errors and they did well to convert the opportunities they were given.

Good call - probably the worst match Flegg's played in the last 2 months, although last week's effort against Manly wasn't that impressive either & they were very lucky to get away with that one!

Awahau got Player's Player & man of the match for his effort Sat night. Also have to give a huge wrap to Luke Branighan who's been a revelation since he's taken over the goalkicking duties. It seems to enhance his general kicking game & his partnership with Hendo has given the team more options in the tryzone.

Speaking of Hendo, he was playing hooker with Widnes when we signed him but the intention was always to play him at half with Balmain. He's shown himself to be more than capable in that position but in the last two weeks being moved back to hooker has put him back in his comfort zone and he's showing his versatility & value to the team. Great vision from the scrumbase to score the matchwinner, too!

Looking forward to next weekend in Canberra - but not if it snows!!!

Don't know was too busy spending time with the little one :D :D :D So of course we didn't go!

All I heard from Azzi, Peth and Mooney on sunday morning was that they had already lodge the complaint against the ref for a bad performance and that it won't end there they said something along the lines that the player who was judged off side was infact 3 players deep off the ruck and was standing behind the ref at the time like all the other players - apperantly they over heard something to say that if it was a close game then he will make something happen for the underdog before they ran out for the 2nd half and well the ref did!

LOL!! reckon you'll find that is all rumour, surely at Jersey Flegg level the officials are more professional than that, that's something you'd expect at suburban level, not Junior Reps. Mistakes happen, the club should have just let it slide cause as you said, they shouldn't have been in that position in the first place given they are clearly a good side and the Central Coast definately are not!

Except for Badger ;-)

4 good decisions in one go dosn't get any better than that

High tackle missed
Try = No Try
Buckets Placed on report = We get a penalty because
Williams got sent off

I have never seen a ref do that ever in the game of rugby league!!!!

I thought that at 1st however Mooney did say he heard it and this was backed up by other balmain players and officials as they where coming out of the tunnel and even 1 CC official has apperantly come into Bat against the Ref - going from what I have been told today Neil the Ref will be either suspended or be given a suspended sentence however he will loose his last 3 match payments (which probably isn't much but it says that the Tigers where right)

I think thats the 1st time we have ever agreed :lol: :lol: :lol:
