Ban Luciano & Latimore

From what i`ve seen on tele I believe among our problems are the lazy involvement of Leilua with only soft contact in defense & not a lot of enthusiasm supporting or running with the ball.
Latimore, while trying, is slow & hardly threatening in either defense or attack at his age I would be in favour of seeing more of Kerr even though he hasn`t shown a great deal in NRL as yet, but with more game time & confidence may be a chance to be a force. THOUGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been saying it for months. Ravilawa was easy to add to that list, lazy, slow as. All should be banned from top grade

Last game when Fonua was wrestling with 2 dragons in the middle of the game on the 59 and lucky dived at his legs missed then watch as Fonua made another 12 metres at the same pass lucky got back into the line showed me
The fact he just doesn’t want it enough his lazy soft and should never wear the red v again but who cares Mary was soo angry he made soo many changes...

Cant blame latimore his slow and not an athlete but still gets picked

Remember what happened with Soward under Price, well maybe Luc is the same, he’s figured out the coach is a moron. I wouldn’t throw him under a bus until I’d seen what a decent coach could get out of him.

Problem is for the money lucky is on and the fact we don’t have a coach who can seem to get anything out of him don’t think he should be in fg

Completely agree. I’d definitely prefer to see Kerr and Timm ahead of Lats. I don’t mind Leilua off the bench as an impact player, but take your point regarding his defence.

Provide a good coach and I believe he would be a top prop in the NRL witin months. Look our AFB has come on under Hasler this season.

A few yes no kind of things

1. Latimore - yes ... piss him off .. no impact not energy ... will not benefit from a better game plan
2. Leilua - no .. he is actually an underused weapon but without adequate support play he is forced into a role he is not equipped for. He is destroyed by game plan. He is not a long minute defensive player .. He is a bloke to bring on for impact, get him running at smaller blokes a little wider and support his offloads. If you cannot build that game plan around him then piss him off.
3. Ravalawa - no .. he is a better option at centre than Aitken. Is close to the best ball player in our 3/4 that we have ... can create .. HIs speed issues and air issues are negated by playing centre with decent wingers outside him.

Pearson is showing a little on the wing and he has made a few good plays both in the air and out wide.

Pereira is someone who tries really hard but is never going to be top tier.

We need a bloke like Fingerson on the wing ...

Fittler picked a winning side based on effort players put in, maybe it's something that needs to be shown to Leilua & Dufty.
Lats puts in but just lacks any impact at all & wouldn't even make an A grade side.

With a good coach:
  • our Fullback would be holding hanging around the ball a=carrier looking for a pass or second phase play. Dufty is currently trying to play like a half/five-eight as a link player. We need someone running through the middle.
  • Leilua - Mary needs to tell him its now or never at the dragons. He is not interested. I kn ow he spent a lot of time on he bench yesterday, but he ran with no conviction and was not looking to pass. In CC he hits and spins and links up with guys like Dufty running into the wholes.
  • I'd like to see Joe Lovoda get a run next week off the bench. I know that se already have two hookers in the side, but we need to get him ready for next year.
  • Latimore needs to go, Kerr and Timm need to be given the chance to show what they can do for the rest of the year. At least Mary can say I'm blooding players for next year.

I'm liking Ravalawa and Pearson both are getting better and we are watching skills he have not had like passing, speed and hard hitting impacts.

We need a strike Centre ( get rid of Aitken hes reached his limit) and Lafai (Twinkle toes - he tackles 50 little steps as he approaches the line with no speed and no one is deceived ) also he has no speed. New Lomax takes one centre position and we need another.

You are describing the coach's incompetence and inability to work out an impactful bench and how to best use it.
It's been the same since he started.
We have lost several games because of it.
Last night we were lucky + Frizzel, Hunt and Vaughn played out of their skins to get the win.

I sit there and just shake my head when he does those silly little steps. Just run hard son.

Kerr is simply a slightly bigger and a less involved Latimore.
