The good guys of world cricket are back on the international stage

First ODI 9am on Saturday 20/3 AEDT

The 6 internationals all at different venues

I guess means crowds are good to attend?

No Williamson for the series and no Taylor for the first match. Conway, Young & Mitchell all likely to make their ODI deubts in the first match. First match will be Bangladesh's best chance of a winning a game.

I’m pretty confident about Conway, Young abs Mitchell... actually Young is the only one I have any doubt on, Conway should be in the test team for Blundell or Nicholls immediately

Do the other New Zealand players not like Matt Henry. Guy has so many catches dropped of his bowling.

Shame Taylor is out injured. Dropped from the t20 side, his time in ODI is limited you would imagine?

Bangers 2/40
12 overs

Taylor wants to play at the next ODI world cup. Would expect him to retire in the next 12 months or so from the test team and focus on white ball cricket.

I appreciate NZ hosting tours from Bangladesh and other countries like the Windies etc.

Our hobos at Cricket Australia are only interested in India and England and don't give two hoots about developing the game by hosting the so called lesser nations.

True, but also I'm on the fence as to where blame for that lies though.

Sure CA should do it, but when they used to no prick went and watched. So the Aussie cricket community has to shoulder some of it IMO. EG the same merkins who whinge that ODIs are behind a paywall when they never attended or watched ODIs and lead to no decent FTA offer for the rights.

I've always been for the idea of hosting smaller nations at smaller grounds. Have a series vs Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Zimbabwe or NZ at Manuka & Cairns & Hobart. As if they won't just about sell out.

Yeah, I'm not talking full scale tours but one off tests in a regional type area every year.

The last time Bangladesh toured: 2008,
The last time the Windies toured: 2016

NZ have posted 318 with centuries to Conway and Mitchell.

Henry has picked up a couple of wickets to have Bangladesh 22/2 after 6 overs.
