Do any of you guys follow Bartercard Cup?

If so what team? And what other team would you like to see in the comp?

What do you think would help get fans to watch Bartercard Cup games? Or any Ideas on how to improve it?

I follow Glenora (vomits violently) only because my son plays for them. I'd like to see Otahuhu out, and Mangere East in.

With the large development going on in Otago, lets hope they will have a team in 3 or so years.

Im a Central falcons man....

I understand they are going to cut the Auckland teams down and have other teams around the country....

New Teams could be:

Otago,
Northland,
West Coast,
And maybe a few years down the track split up WAICOA BAY....

..of course after they develop those three areas

Used to live up on the Kaipara and further north so was always interested in the Hibiscus Coast Raiders. Now with living in the Bay and the Waicoa Bay club in the comp this year, I'll have more reason the follow the comp, and hopefully get to a few of the local games if I cant make it to Ericsson.

Also in the 2003 season, I would to the previews/reviews of each round. If ny of you guys/ladies get to some games and are intersested in helping out with news etc, you would be welcomed with open arms :) .

Also while I'm on a roll, anyone able to supply the Bartercards squads for 2004, or know who I can contact, please feel free to get in touch with either myself or the leagueunlimited website. Cheers... Go the Raiders!!

You get around Robster. A few years ago you told me on msn that you were playing for Glenora in the Bartercard Cup, lived out that way and then Last year you were saying that you were Playing for the Raiders :?

ROBSTER... WHAT'S DOING? :)

Yeah Mate,

I watch every club game (in Auckland) that I can get to. From U16's
through to premiers (even the ladies - I have a special interest in
ladies..although probably not what you may be thinking). Grass roots
footy is where every star player starts off...and I'm pretty happy to be
a part of their start in the great game.

Cheers
Skinner ;-) ;-) ;-)

Well carlnz, I'm a long time Western Suburbs Magpie so I guess you
could say that I actually have half a NRL team in Wests Tigers. The mighty
"pies" are my all time favourites and it's where I served my RL apprenticeship. I obviously have more than a passing interest in the
Warriors but I have soft spots for teams like the Cowboys and the
Panthers.

In Bartercard, I was with the Northcote club for 11 years and involved
in the national team (media) so I still follow the boys and always try and
catch one of their games where I can. This season I think, though, the
Mt Albert Lions will be the team to beat, with Bluey at the helm and a whole bunch of great young players lined up to play they will be very hard.
That said, I will watch with interest the performance of Waicoa Bay
and the Counties Manukau Jetz. Both of these new franchises promise an
awful lot and should go well in their first year. Its how they go the following season will be the real test though.

In Premier footy in Auckland it's as above with the Tigers until the end
of the 2002 season and since then, no particular team. I like (again)
Mt Albert for the Fox this year. Mangere East will be tough and Richmond
will be thereabouts at the end. The rest is a lottery until we get through
the grading round and see who is there.

Cheers
Skinner

I reackon the two new BarterCard cup teams are going to give some of the "top" teams a run for there money!! I watch the two teams play last year against each other before a warriors game. And i was very Impressed with there standard.

It's a great time in Batercard cup 2004 new teams, new players....how many new BC players will we see in the warriors this year?
