Bates Motel - TV Series

Don't think it's released here yet (soon I think) but I've downloaded the first series and loved it. Up to the second last episode. It's a prequel to psycho and the happenings in that movie. It shows how Norman Bates became to be how he was.

Freddie Highmore plays a 17 year old Norman Bates
Vera Farmiga plays Norma Bates

Both very good and Freddie does a great job as a young Norman. Very strange kid and you sense a weird thing about him but his social awkwardnessakes you feel sorry for him

My girlfriend and I just finished watching it on Monday night. Not a bad little series at all. It's a little 'teen drama' at points, but I'm enjoying the characters and the very creepy setting.

Keen to see what happens in the second season after the season one cliffhangers.

Does a pretty good job while still managing to feel like a drama rather than an all out horror. Freddie Highmore is fantastically creepy and there's a decent amount of eye candy as well. Some good shock moments too.
