Haha it's probably gonna only be you and I that are talking about this Southy lol.

I honestly can't believe McLaughlin yesterday. The first person to ever do a 2:03 in a Supercar, just wow. That is truly amazing and he was so pumped. I never cheer for Falcons (I'm a Holden man) but boy I hope he wins it and I'll certainly be cheering for him.

This year is gonna be interesting as I reckon there's around 12 cars who can win it.

Happy Bathurst day everyone! It's like Christmas except you're not guaranteed a present haha.

Obviously it's impossible to pick Bathurst but here's my top five:

1. McLaughlin / Premat
2. Lowndes / Richards
3. Mostert / Owen
4. Van Gisbergen / Campbell
5. Tander / Goulding

A few surprises I know but I've taken into account it might rain.

Hard to leave out the likes of Whincup, Reynolds and Winterbottom.

OK, not looking like rain in Sydney but it is forecast for Bathurst.

Did you watch the TCM race? Young Adam Garwood is not a bad driver, I wish he was still in the Capri Perana V8 though.

I saw some highlights of a different race on the news last night. There was some guy who had his hood literally taped onto his car lol. Are you allowed to purposely take out other cars in the race?

I've lived in Bathurst for 37 yrs & have never been up to WAHLUU in order to watch the race.
I worked up there a couple of times to earn some extra cash years ago but not to concentrate on the racing.
The jets are flying over my house at present but no RAIN,as yet! Overcast though!

So you could technically just take all your threats out? Haha that's pretty funny. You could just say your car malfunctioned a few times

Such actions in motorsport can have deadly consequences.

It's also illegal for a teammate to hinder the progress of a driver from a rival team, especially if the rival driver is in contention for the championship.

Sorry I haven't talked all day, I've just been enjoying the race.

And what a race it was, just wow. Up there with the best Bathurst I've ever seen!

Crazy conditions and I can't imagine how hard that must've been for the drivers man, I really can't. From an outsider looking in, they'd say that the first 120 laps were boring but for a lifelong Supercars fan, they were anything but! No big accidents but there was great racing throughout. Always something going on and I was just in awe of the skill level of the drivers to keep it clean for six hours in that kind of weather, amazing.

What do you say about the last 40 or so laps? It went absolutely crazy!!! So exciting and interesting, it was like it was growing up with great racing, all the carnage and the strategy that went on. I was on the edge of my seat and so many things happened it was just crazy, so so good to watch!!

For Davie Reynolds and Youlden to win it too, wow. Such a small team that's been through so much and they've come out, blown all the big boys away and won the biggest race of the year. Reynolds has grown so much the last two years and I'm stoked for him. Once again the mighty Holden reigns!!

I'm gutted for some of my favs like McLaughlin and Gizzy who didn't have such a great day but oh well.

Up there with the greatest of the great race imo and I'm still buzzing!!

Haha, well for a Holden fan, it was great to watch.

You know we've been in a long dry spell over the ditch here, yesterday came the rain and it's fine and sunny again, so it only rained on race day!..........unbelievable.

Congrats to Reynolds, Betty and Erebus though, job well done.

Yea I did hear that actually. They were talking about it during the coverage and it did look real dry over there. Hope it comes right soon.

See, over here it's the opposite. Last month was the most rainfall there's ever been in September and we seem to have hardly any really nice days.
