I've always thought that KIA was a strange choice of name for a car.

On a par with the the Toyota Cartwheel, the Nissan Deathtrap and Ford Crumple.

I reckon, such a relief.

I think MITS means that the spraying of the champagne wildly into the crowd is a modern day metaphor for what old school drivers used to do after a victory.

Sorry to add some context to my comments, I have known Mark Winterbottom since he was in his early teens racing Karts, I have followed his progress for a very long time, and enjoyed many of his race victories.

If you hear him speak about this victory he will speak about owing he team after 2007's race. This is where while leading Mark had an incident at the Chase and then again at the top of the mountain which meant his race was over and he finished 10th, Mark still blames himself for the issues and in the years in between has worked hard to win as a way to make up for that result. Yesterday he did, he broke through and won the great race, something the Driver of Ford #5 failed to do (Glenn Seaton) before him. That win is a massive relief for those that follow Frosty, those that follow FPR and those that follow the Blue Oval.

Funnily enough, C7 when ad free for 1hour and 5 minutes during the end of the Race. Was quite a change from watching the Ad 1000.
