Ok, once and for all: who is the best Batman according to LU punters.

Your options are:

1. Adam West (TV series - 1966-68, 1 film in 1966)

2. Michael Keaton (Batman 1989 and Batman Returns 1992)

3. Val Kilmer (Batman Forever 1995)

4. George Clooney (Batman & Robin 1997)

5. Christian Bale (Batman Begins 2005, The Dark Knight 2008, and The Dark Knight Rises 2012)

of course there are 2 more guys pre-Adam West, as well as voice actors for the numerous animated series, for the purposes of this poll we'll keep it to the 5 most known and therefore the most popular (regardless of their performance).

Bale is good but Ill always like Michael Keaton. He and bale have played batman in darker movies compared to Kilmer and clooney who played batman in more comical movies

While the best series of films are the Dark Knight trilogy, I will always love the 1989 Burton film and Batman Returns. Keaton was very good.

Animated series version voiced by Kevin Conroy is easily the best Batman. He's the one I hear whenever I read a Batman comic.

Christian Bale was the best live action Bruce Wayne, but his Batman voice does get annoying. I liked Conroy's way of using his real voice for Batman and putting on his public Bruce Wayne voice.

I went with Keaton. Bale was in the better series, but Keaton made Wayne charismatic without diminishing Batman. I feel like Bale was a fantastic Batman, but a terrible Bruce Wayne.
