Tigers 6/7/13 combo has worked wonders for the attack, however with Hastings gone im not sure Doueihi and Madden will get the space theyve enjoyed recently. I dont know who other teams play but the Tigers have a couple of winnable games V Knights, Dragons and Raiders all at home.

Knights are comfortably the worst team in the comp atm, not sure the Titans have 2 wins in them but I cant see Newcastle winning another game regardless of who they have to play.
Well if they want to continue that freedom peachey sloting in at 13 will be the only choice, anyone else will just be plod, that ofanguae is super plod to the max, should be lucky to be in 17 in most weeks, offers nothin

farkin what? Offa has easily been in our top 2 players this year, probably been his best year in NRL

Peachey on the other hand has been terrible in all bar about 2 games

Easily been ploding, while it took all of two games for jackson hastings to be considered a proper lock forward that would actually attack, not just run fwd and drop balls like offa, offas up there with aiden tolman

If Titans can win one more game besides beating us than that spoon is ours. I'm not sure they can though because they're pretty damn awful too.

Shows how bad Barrett was.

The Dogs would be competing with Canberra and St George for mathematical chance to make the eight if he didn't coach half a season.
Hopefully next season. Be nice for the whole pack of teams to even up somewhat.

Please god, let it be Newy.
How can you not like Newcastle? Perennial underdogs, amazing loyal fanbase who wouldn't know a bandwagon if it ran over them and the battlers of the NRL. They couldnt even make a multi millionaire owner and wayne bennet work bless them.

Highlights the gap between top eight and bottom eight, huge gap.
More highlights the gap between Penrith and the rest. There is a bigger gap from Penrith to 2nd place than there is from top 8 to bottom 8. If it wasn't for Penrith this years comp would look super even.

The worst part is the predictability. 6 points separates 11th and 12th, so those bottom 5 teams are a clear step worse than the rest of the league.

Those teams are the Bulldogs, Knights, Warriors, Tigers, and Titans. All 5 would have been predictable at the start of the season. All 5 have been without success for a long time (or ever in the Warriors and Titans cases).

There is not enough parity in the league. I know not every team can be good every year, but they should be up and down the ladder in relatively short cycles. But the same teams keep failing.

It takes time. No different to south’s when they were in the wilderness. It took paying overs for the right players to build off. That didn’t happen overnight.

The race for the spoon is heating up.

Dogs v Warriors tonight will decide if the latter truly have what it takes to secure this prized utensil.

The weird thing is all of those 5 clubs have extensive Jnr regions and local players to develop. Warriors get a pass but the rest, what are they doing with the local talent??

I can only assume it’s getting taken by the top teams.clubs should be rewarded for developing talent
