Poor captaincy from Hodge towards the end I thought. Poor young Agar in that 18th over was on a hiding to nothing, 19 years old on debut and had had a great over and a rubbish one, probably not odds on to bowl another ripper. Should have been Pollard really.

Laughlin also, the 19th over...I mean yeah he took two wickets but the balls otherwise were legside dross

and the Stards still nearly lost

why does Punter have a boner for them?

Good mates with KP maybe? Full Brown paper bag from Eddie?

Loved how Gilly was asking him the hard questions when he was microphoned up, one that he hates part time bowlers and just attacks them shows them no respect (a part time bowler was bowling at the time) - that embarrassed KP, then about asking him what when on during the Pollard hand bandage fiasco

Ricky Ponting embraces Melbourne’s ‘different vibe’ after move from Sydney

RON REED, Herald Sun
October 19, 2015 11:21am

FORMER Australian Test captain Ricky Ponting has revealed deep affection for his adopted new home of Melbourne praising our city’s “community” and “neighbourhood” feel, knocking his former home Sydney for six in the process.

Ponting, who has set up residence in a Brighton mansion, says he “wasn’t leaving a lot behind” when leaving the harbour city.

“In two years we would have five times the amount of friends we had in 10 or 11 years in Sydney and it certainly feels like a different vibe,” he tells Herald Sun sports columnist Ron Reed.

“Things aren’t as competitive and you have more of a community, neighbourhood feel.”
