Nope, it's completely seperate.

It cant work like that here because the bbl is reliant on the australian summer holidays as is the test summer.

We have commitments in india in February. Already there are internationals scheduled after Australia has landed in india.

This is the reality of the australian cricket summer. Cricket australia does not want to break up the premier tests/bbl combo they have going on. Particularly going into an ashes year. They have a chunk of australians watching cricket from 10am to 10pm and thats a pretty impressive sell to tv networks.
