I’m pretty sure that he was taking the piss, there was an article on Tuesday linking Cam McInnes to PNG and testerday it was the Perth Bears again.
I hope that the Perth Bears get them both, McInnes would make a great Captain and Rudolf would be great for morale.
It’s going to be a very busy 6 months.
He's a pretty funny fecker.
Have you seen this clip of him selling himself to Wayne Bennett?
I've watched it a few times and I get a good chuckle each time.

Winger Sione Katoa is another Shark who keeps getting mentioned, Ronaldo Mulitalo has one wing spot sewn up when he is fully fit and if you had to choose between Sione and Sam Stonestreet you’d have to say that the Sharks would go with Stonestreet due to his age, Siones younger brother Tui has been with the North Sydney Bears for the last four years.
I'm not sure I you'll get many Sharks supporters agreeing with you there. Most will willingly give up Stonestreet in favour of Katoa.
The jury is out if Stoney is actually decent at all.
Money talks though, and if you do get Katoa that would be an awesome signing.

Happy with Wishart, Henry ( may have paid too much for Wishart, we'll see.) gave praise for the English signings and praise the efforts to sign Sorensen.
I call it what it is.
Going after Tino and Cambell is in bad taste, so is this.
You’re too soft for Rugby League and planet earth if any of this jibberish has a shred of truth to it bra.

keep telling yourself that bro. You need to convince yourself that’s true first. Given how many times you’ve repeated yourself saying it … well that’s an indignant you’ve still got some work to do on that “Titans fan”

Can’t wait to see some talented wa jnrs run out for Perth but in reality it’s going to take a few years, and until then we need to sign the best talent we can find from wherever we can find it! Like every other club is doing.

meanwhile Sorenson be a solid signing.
100% right. But given @Gobsmacked liked this post after the dribble I’ve read over the last four pages is beyond ironic.

I totally agree with you, I just thought being younger would be in Stonestreets favour

Had an eye on Luke Laulili last night in the Tigers trial …. I was a bit critical of that signing … but he went ok I thought and looks to have grown a few inches over the off season … could be a sneaky good signing on cheap money…

Just seen this on one of the socials. Bears looking at Geyer 2.0

BEARS’ BLAST FROM PAST
Thirty years after Mark Geyer headed across the Nullarbor to be the face of the Western Reds, one of the NRL’s most sentimental stories is on the cusp of unfolding when the 18th team enters the competition next year.

The sight of big MG, eyes rolling and foam almost coming out of his mouth as he tried to demolish rival forwards was perhaps the lasting memory of the Reds’ short foray into the old top grade.

But Geyer’s 25-year-old son Mavrik, who has already tasted the NRL, has been locked in talks with the Perth Bears about continuing the Geyer legacy out west.

While Penrith premiership winner Scott Sorensen is closing in one last big payday, the Bears have also quietly been wooing Baby MG to be a foundation player in Mal Meninga’s first squad in 2027. Mavrik Geyer has been mulling a multi-year deal to join the Bears.

Geyer has only signed a one-year deal to join the Wests Tigers this season having played 14 NRL games with the Panthers in the last two years, so has been a free agent since November 1.

He could provide Meninga with another Penrith connection as prop Liam Henry was one of the first players to commit to the Bears and Sorensen is eyeing a move west.

The bears are his best bet, even at the tigers he's down the list.

Geyer hasn’t shown much to date when he was at Penrith … although behind some good guys there …. It’s hard to justify paying him much more than the minimum… but he could get that in Sydney … unfortunately this is where the Bears are at a disadvantage on these lower depth guys that you are rolling the dice on in the hopes they will turn into something
