Beattie and Stevens

Beattie made a great run and tackle in the first half when he threw some little dweeb over the side line. I've never seen Beattie run so fast. That is commitment.

I was also glad to see Stevens playing better. Big runs, a couple of good, opportune and SAFE offloads.

Maybe our forward pack will play better this year and live up to potential?

Lomu was a vast improvement too.

I remember him tackling Lolesi over the sideline in the second half.

Oh, and Knees *AKA* Stevens doing his usual knee up into the defence and his "Hoppa" like tackling, did the lord tell him to do that?
