A win for wingers everywhere, especially at the Eels.

Good luck to him post footy, mind you.

11 years in the NRL for 107 games, averages out to less than 10 a year... I wonder if that is the least amount of games for anyone who has played 11 seasons? Bloke has been terribly unlucky in the last 4 years or so...

Couldn't pass to save his life but could run a great line when he wanted to.

His greatest service to South Sydney was making way for Inglis when we couldn't get his contract over the line with the cap auditor.

For that, I will always be thankful to Beau.

Where does he rank in terms of worst Parramatta signings in recent years?

Somewhere between Paul Whatuira and Chris Hicks?

Made me check the White Pages to see if anyone has the surname "Plod". No Plods but there are some Ploder's listed, that's just Sydney.

He couldn't possibly be worse than the Dragons signing Chris Sheppard back in 2005!

Isn't he Inglis' cousin and convinced Inglis to come over after his contract at Brisbane fell apart?

Thought so. I remember back in the day he being talked up for NSW marking right up against Inglis, in the end they went for Beau Scott. Would have been interesting though, cousin vs cousin. He was actually really good defensively back in his days at Souths.

I think the only thing that fell apart there was Greggy's understanding of modern aviation.
