Discuss.

Maybe he could do you guys a favour, quit footy and become a comedian.
You know, something he has a bit of talent in.

He had a good game especialy in defence. But tell me if im wrong but it always seems to be his wing that they always struggle to get clean ball to, are they bad passes or is he still inable to position himself to take them ? I dont mean to sound negative but it always seems balls never hit him on the chest compared to tnt's side.

he played well 2day. he just needs to bulk up more so he can use some strength to get past 1or2 players close to the line

Had a bad time with Colllis for quite awhile. Frankly, Collis may have been too classy at the time and then was hampered by injury - so Ryan finds himself playing outside Halatau etc. Also, WT attack naturally towards the left - just look how fluent Marshall and Farrah look when passing down that side. Very few right handed playmakers can do as well to the right as to the left (think Alan Langer). An exception was Prince, who could attack and pass beautifully from both sides (even then though, it was Pat Richards on the Right who scored those 26 in 2005).

Either way, Ryan played with a lot of determination and class today. He deserves at least a nod for that on a board that has pretty well crucified him all year.

"Slow" Ryan? Look at the shot of him racing 60m for the disallowed try off the knock on. Looked plenty quick to me. Fast off the mark with a low centre of gravity. imo a good deal faster than the likes of the old school Kangaroo wingers like Handcock, Wishart or McDougall.

Not that he's in that class but today was a blinder (and taking the Farrah cut out ball at full pace around his knees was poetry to watch).

Speaking of pace, hasn't Moltzen got some drive when he puts the foot down?

On the right day this team can beat anyone.

Luck with the finals fellas.

Farah is a left handed playmaker. Look at the pass he through today for Ryan's first try...

We favour the other side. Benji is playing left and therefore feeds plenty to Tuiaki. On the right we've had Moltzen who plays a more traditional halfback role where he usually ends up feeding the ball to "Benji-everywhere" through Benji's speed to position or Moltzen changing direction. Farah passes stronger to his right (eg. double-cut-out vs the Sharks) but he often "floats" the other way with the his show-and-goes.

I don't have a problem with Beau. If we could bomb more accurately I think he'd be a good asset under the high ball.
