Beaver - Out 3-4 Weeks

Beaver Menzies has a broken hand from SOO3. Can anyone remember the last time Beaver missed a game through injury? I seem to recall an elbow injury years ago but not to sure if he missed any weeks over this?

f**k! that's all we need. We should still be ok against the Roosters but I think we missed Beaver last week. He probably would have slotted in nicely at 5/8:lol: .

The next three weeks are going to be decisive to our premiership campaigns. The following 3 weeks we have:
Souths (away) - A game we should win, despite injuries
Panthers (home) - Another game we should win
Parra (away) -

It is very important that with the 3 injuries we have, we win at least 2 of these games. The Parra gave I am a bit worried about but we should beat Souths and Penrith. Hopefully, a couple of the injuries may be back against Parra but even so should be win two of the games. The next three week period will show whether we are contenders this year, or pretenders. Thats why its vitally important we win the games that we have injuries like Bell, Bk, and Choco, because when they come back, they are likely to influence upon our cheances of winning in the finals should we perform these next three weeks.

They definately want to re-sign him. Thats for sure. Manly have offered him $400,000, Parra has also offered him the same amount. I can guarentee you, that if Newcastle offer anything close to that, he'll stay. But the management at Newcastle are stupid for not giving one of their star players what he wants, and what he rightfully deserves IMO as well, a pay rise. I definately agree that Simpson would be a quality replacement, but if we dont get him we should and will look at young Great Britain second rower Jon Wilkin.

From what I've heard they've offered him that amount. I agree with you Onan. Hes good, but he aint $400,000 good. I'm thinking about $350,000 a season is around the right money anywayz.
