i Believe the Tigers should approach him..He is a game breaker and is waiting until June 30th 'to see his worth'..

His family have very strong Balmain/Wests Links..

Our recruitment for 2005 will rest with how many of the current players are not re-signed. I dont think that will be many.

I dont really think Senter is on that much money anyways. He could go around again in 2005 I think.

Does anyone have a list of players that are off contract ? (this might be a question for magpiemax to ask his source).

Skandalis-will hopefully resign
Sattler-is contracted for another year, but it`s rumoured that niggling injuries may make this year his last.
Buettner-will retire
Senter-won`t get resigned
Moodie-?
Heighnington-will hopefully resign
Kerr-will hopefully resign
Mears-I doubt he`ll get resigned
Harrison-apparently resigned for another year?

I rate Kennedy one of the best forwards in the game (if not the best) when fit.

But thats the catch - would it be worth the money we'd have to pay him to sign a player that spends about 50% of the year out injured?

Mears has another year left on his 5yr deal

Moodie, Buettner, Heighnington and Kerr are hardly on anything at the Wests Tigers so they won't make a difference

To be honest I wouldn't go after BK - sure he can win a match but really he has already become the next Terry Hill - here one day gone the next, for the amount of money he would won't it is something we really would be wasting plus we do have the talent in the ranks coming through that would make a better impact that BK would

Another thing to say he has ties with Balmain and Wests would surley have to be a joke ?? Given that he has never stepped foot near this place, he came from Canberra and then trialled out at Manly to only been told he wasn't good enough (Peters still knocks his head on the table over that decision) I really couldn't see how he would have any "ties" with our clubs what so ever ????

Covell definately only signed for 1 year.To be honest although he never lets anyone down,I don`t think we need him.

i am a fan of covells.. it would be a shame if he left.

I think so as well but lets face it he can finish try’s off and well having a 80% kicker as well is an added bonus, defence he is sound and when he hits the ball up the same could be said - he would be a loss but I am sure he would get a much better offer from another club and would have a guaranteed spot on the wing if he wanted to go to another club

Any team in the bottom half without a topline kicker will be interested. He'd definitely make an impact at Souths, the Warriors, and maybe even Melbourne Parra and the Sharks. I get the feeling the Tigers won't be prepared to spend enough to make him stay.

I doubt the warriors will go after him they are very happy with how Sione is kicking (over 80% ), Also with the Dragons set to loose Riddell could Covell make a move over there ???

I hope he could stay but I like you Yappy fear that we won't have enough money to spend on him to stick around
