After hearing the news yesterday that Ben Ross signed with Souths, i somewhat feel a lil confused as to why we didnt have more of a go with him if you believe what they say about his salary is true? I mean 49k base salary which could jump up to around 180k depending on performances. I mean i know he aint the world's greatest prop but surely for that price he was worth the risk? Im still waiting for a " big signing " to come because im starting to worry about next year already

I'd much rather have taken a punt on Ben Ross than spend money on Joel Clinton or Adam Woolnough...

Potential to be one of the top props in the game and he's signing with Souths for 50k in a deal that if he flops, it's no loss and if he comes good, it's a super bargain.

Seems to difficult for Senior Burger and Shames to understand.
