They have been playing alright but just havn't been able to make a play towards the end when it counts. They really look like the don't know how to win a game to be honest but who knows maybe this could turn a few things around for them.

Positive is that they didn't let in any points during the 2nd half

are the bengals getting any games on foxtel this season? I have seen one bengals match in the last 4 years.

Very rare for an AFC team with a poor record like the Bengals to get a game on Fox. All Fox games involve one NFC team at least. The entire NFL tv schedule is organised months in advance unlike the NRL. All the Monday night and Sunday night games are known well before the season starts.

.

isn't it sickening that we won't be able to see the broncos v vikings game. foxtel will be showing saints v falcons, a dud of a game.

i might have to send foxtel an email. if a few of us send them an email they may change the game. they did it a couple of times last year.

What's the e-mail address Kurt?

Another win, 34-26 over the Ravens. I think the Ravens were just plain bad moreso than us playing well. 2-4 isn't the end of the season yet but really the two wins haven't been particularly impressive. Getting further and further away from that no. 1 pick...

concerning the tv ratings, I think Fox in america has the right to NFC matches and as such show those matches here. CBS owns the rights to the AFC so obviously foxtel simply couldn't be bothered buying the right to telecast afc matches in australia from CBS and we are left with the crappy NFC. I want patriots, miami, bengals, pittsburgh and cleveland matches!!!!

As for the bengals winning, what a great f**king day it is!!!! They've already equaled last years win total and have finally beaten the scumbag ravens (only the second time in 11 matches!!!). I hate the ravens, taking my team from cleveland away from me and turning me into a bengals fan for life. Down with the ravens!

The most impressive thing about the match is that it was done without Dillon being productive, when was the last time that happened? Chad Johnson continues to prove that he is an elite reciever in the nfl and finally Warrick is getting involved and productive.

Awesome news!!! We beat Seattle. Easily our best win of the season so far (of the three to choose from  ) Jon Kitna's on course for his best season ever, poor Carson Palmer probably isn't liking that. Anyway it'd be great if we could get at least 7 or 8 wins this season, I don't know whether we will actually challenge for a play-off berth though but our division is looking pretty weak so anything's possible.

yeah, who knows if they'll make it but it has been a brilliant start to the season. I'm pretty certain dillon won't be there next year now. Johnson has proven he can run and our offence is no longer as dependant upon the run. Plus, dillon wants to leave and it is showing in his performances. In return for Dillon we may get a few top players as well.

I expect a competitive season now. To start 3-4 is a brilliant effort for a team that went 2-14 last year.

I don't think it is a problem for Carson that Kitna is doing well. I definately agree with Marvin that it is better to rest a rookie QB and let him learn. Palmer is able to sit on the bench and watch how a succesful QB operates. That's a good thing. Carson will definately have first shot next season because Kitna will never be a brilliant QB, but I think these victories are priceless as he is learning from a half decent team, not one with no clue.

If we string a few more wins together you might have to change your sig BT. Plenty more wins to come. ;-)

no mate, too often the team has shown a tiny bit of form to get my hopes up too high. For example, in the late 90's the bengals were crap but they'd always manage 3 or 4 wins at the end of the season. Did that form ever role into the next season? Not once! Then in 2001 the side started 2-0 and suddenly people were talking about an undefeated season...only to finish 6-10. But, that 6-10 season was good enough to promise good things for the next season. What happened? 2-14. In my opinion, there may still be plenty more losses to come, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Well Jon Kitna`s been doing the job at starting QB thus far, it`ll be interesting to see if he keeps his marbels intact. Because if he doesn`t the confirming of Carson Palmer as the 2nd string QB will come in at the drop of a hat I`d say.

Unbelievable! We beat the Chiefs! The Ravens lost to Miami so now we're equal first in our division. We've had some great wins so far this season, but that loss to Arizona was ugly. We have a pretty good draw to finish the season so I think we can really do this, 9-7 should probably be enough.

Im so glad the Chiefs got knocked over, they are far from as good as their record makes them look. And to lose to the Bengals really shows it. (sorry bengal fans, but if the chiefs had lost to the panthers or colts people wouldnt have sat up and laughed at them like they will now).

I tell ya what, Corey Dillon may have started for the last time in a Bengals jersey too.
