Will Doust make a really big recruitment announcement prior to Firdays kick-off? I'd like to seem Doust announce the following:

Sheens has been appointed as head coach of the Dragons and will commence the week after the up-coming test between Aust. and NZ.

Marshall, Sims and Saffy have agreed to join the Dragons prior to June 2014.

Doust has the cash put away for a rainy day. His hand didn't stop shaking for a week after signing up Dugan and Widdop.

I don't know how much we have left in the cap for 2014 but it seems you don't need much these days as the third party part of the salary is unlimited it seems.

Just go through the exercise lining up our squad against the big spenders and it seems to me that we should have some spare cap available. If not, it could be the case that we are paying overs or we are front loading contracts to create space for recruiting in the years to come. If this is the case, maybe we can backload some new contracts and top them up with 3rd party contributions.

Rember, the coaches salary is not included in the salary cap.
