Benji Marshall's REAL height

On the wests tigers website- it lists Benji as being 1.81 metres- 6 foot 1

this HAS to be wrong- he is no way that tall- it would mean he is taller than Scott Sattler AND Chris Heingenton- which is ridiculous......

is the tv deceptive or is this just an error on the website?

181cm is not 6'1 mate its 5'11.

I should know cos Im 185 cm which is 6 foot 1.

From my eye I would think 5'10,11 would be just about right for Benji.

I stand 6'2 and when I've spoken to him he's not much shorter,inch maybe 2 at the most.. TV is deceptive. He's quite a tall lad. He's definately taller than sats put it that way. I think he's had a bit of a growth spurt since last year...

I was talking to him during the year and he wasnt that much taller than me. You stand over me more than a few inches though.

I've noticed this year he is actually quite taller than what I thought. I'd say about 5'11" is about right for him. He's a bit lanky.

And whats the deal with Covell's height? ive read various sources saying he's 181cm, 183cm and 187cm. which is it? in that photo where he's standing with john wilson who has that funny facial expression, covell is much taller, and wilson is 186cm. :?

I talked to him on the Sunday, and he towered above me, (thats not hard)
but he is tallish

I wouldnt be surprised if Sattler is our shortest forward and one of the 5 shortest in the team.

The problem with judging footballers heights is you normally only see them in the company of other footballers - so you tend to think they are shorter than they actually are.

5'11 sounds about right for benji to me (which would make him 11 inches taller than me so stop calling him short :evil: lol)

those details can often be deceiving, on the panthers website it says Tony Puletua is 189cm and 97kg, and I think most people would agree there is no way he is 97kg, put it this way John Wilson is about 97kg and Puletua looks like he's about twice the size of John WIlson.
Also in last year's grand final version of big league it listed Joel CLinton at 187cm and about 100kg, yet in most season guides he's listed at 197cm and 114kg, big difference.
