I thought about putting this in the "interesting stat..." thread, but really it deserves its own. Congratulations Benji. Looking set to crack Hodgo's record by late 2011!

Wests Tigers five-eighth Benji Marshall has become just the second player in the Clubs proud history to reach 700 career points.
In scoring a try and kicking 3 goals in the loss to South Sydney on Saturday night, Marshall moved to 706 career points.
The record for most points for the Club is 786 points set by former champion goal-kicking full-back Brett Hodgson, leaving Marshall requiring just 81 points to set a new record.
Hodgson registered his 786 points in 102 games for Wests Tigers through 38 tries and 317 goals. Hodgson still holds the Club record for most points in a season (308 set in 2005), most points in a match (30 set in 2005) and most goals in a match (9 set in 2005).
