Bennett tipped not to see out contract at knights

Boyd above Dugan?? Haha are you f**ken kidding? That's ridiculous. Dugan is far superior

If the coaching God was to return he would do whatever he wants to do, so you, me and everyone else would have to bend over and take what is dished out. :sarcasm:

I think Duges will have his best year as he learns to play with the guys around him. If he lurks around Widdop like Slater does Cronk he will do damage or if he will actually pass the ball to Morris there will be space cos Duges will draw 2 or 3 players in. I don't like Boyd's attitude after doing FA after he signed with the Knights.....he really let us down

He wouldn't be the first player to clock off once a new contract is signed elsewhere. Bennett did the same to us.

He was a real gem, and he was my absolute favourite player, but Boyd over those 2 is madness. To me, Boyd seems like a great half in the making.

Wrong... in a team environment at his prime, he's done more than either of those two have done. Barba and Dugan are very individual players and have great skill but give me a Boyd in his prime any day of the week. This is a churchill medalist and a guy who easily should've won the dally-m over Carney.

Dugan > Boyd any day of the week!!!

The best thing you can say about Boyd is that he's very safe. He looks great behind a good side (like he did in 2009 & 2010 - despite scoring virtually no tries) but he would have been a passenger in our struggling side last year, whereas Dugan stood out so much he still managed a SOO call up despite a disrupted season.

Boyd's career has been benefited by the fact he's spent the bulk of his early career playing for sides that were Premiership contenders (and winners) and jumping ship before it got tough. Not to mention all his rep games have been played outside Greg Inglis (his Origin highlights package would just be him catching a ball and falling over a try line over and over again).

Basically long story short, Dugan has always stood up in despite playing for struggling sides, Boyd has always had the benefit of playing for successful sides.

I love your loyalty 'The Nick', Wayne Bennett is the reason we had success

This ignores the fact Boyd was one of the reasons we were successful. A big part in fact, since he was the main ball player on our set play to the left. I'd take him back in heartbeat and put him and Widdop in the halves.

It's all a dream though, because we couldn't afford Widdop, Boyd and Dugan without some Stormesq accounting.

Any player that got us that premiership that we were dying to get is a champion. The question is this, where would Boyd play if uncle Wayne doesn't see out his contract as suggested. Maybe they both can come back. :)

That doesn't even make sense. I hope your not a Sharks fan mate cos that would be a laugh as they haven't won a comp, really I could forgive you if you are a bunnies supporter as they have plenty of silverware albeit that the latest piece is going on 42yrs old
