Bennets been around for decades.. he's pushed a few people into oncoming traffic.
Remember when his job was on the line and a few years back and he slaughtered his own coaching staff? Not many would do that.

There are about 5 or 6 teams you could probably argue were better.
Manly, Storm, Broncos, Parramatta, Titans and even the Dogs.
At the start of 09.
We received the "injury prone" Weyman.
Jeremy Smith
Unwanted Neville Costigan
Darius Boyd
Poore was seen as a pillow.
Scott had poor hands
Soward was seen as inconsistent
Hornby wasn't considered a halfback
No real hooker other than Priddis who was over the hill
No 2nd row set in stone
Morris wasn't even a regular first grader
Sailor was over the hill
Gasnier left
Ryles left
2009 we weren't even tipped to make the 8 based on our roster, the only thing that had most people tipping us to make the finals was the Bennett factor. We had alot of talented juniors but most of them had very limited first grade exposure.
Bennett hasnt shown any arogance or ego at all, he's been getting huge credit and media attention, but while all this is going on he's just gone about his business quietly as usual, as the humble man that he is.
...and the end result was a premiership against a salary cap cheating squad wasn't it?
So you're saying that the only reason Ricky Stuart was sacked was due to Bennet agreeing to come to the Roosters? If the Roosters were looking for a replacement for him, I'd say he was going to be sacked regardless.Wayne Bennett agreed to coach the Roosters a few years ago and got Ricky Stuart sacked. He has never apologised for this ungentlemanly like behaviour to anyone, hiding behind the cloke of "I don't speak to the media".
Wayne Bennett talking to St George? That's a scoop. The rest of your statement is only an assumption. And as far as I know, he's allowed to talk to whoever he likes. He has obviously spoken to Russell Crowe, probably Tinkler, definitely the Broncos and definitely St George, maybe even the Cowboys.
Henjak submitted his resignation at the end of last year. It was not accepted by Bruno Cullen and he remained. It was unlikely that Henjak would have been there atfer this year, even if he hadn't been sacked.History has repeated itself in that Henjak has been given the sack to clear the decks for him, with the Broncos sacrificing their coach to make their club a more attractive option for he-who-can-do-no-wrong.
Yes, I'm sure his main priority is to have other coaches watching their backs, rather than coaching the Dragons.Behind the scenes he is 100% playing them all off against each other, and in doing so undermining the coaches of about 4 clubs at the one time.
As I recall, the reason he backed out of coaching the Roosters was due to the arrangement becoming public knowledge, otherwise he was keen to go to the Roosters, as his great idol, Jack Gibson had coached them. You imply he never had any intention of going and falsely assured the Roosteres that he would go so as to ensure that their coach at the time was sacked. Utter rubbish.Because his reputation as the ultimate gentleman survived a backflip on joining the Roosters, which cost Ricky Stuart his job, he has no problem with doing it again.
It's his decision and he can make it when he is good and ready. Do you think players are any different? If he cared about loyalty and being a gentleman as much as he and his disciples carry on about, he would quickly choose what he is doing for 2012 rather than playing them all off against each other.
And of course, you will be demanding that every other coach and player who is coming off contract at the end of the year will immediately announce their intentions for next year as well?Honourable (and we won't see it as it would be completely out of character) would be an immediate statement on what he is doing for 2012 so as to stop destabilising 4-5 clubs.

bend over
"sack Neil Henry, and then I'll talk about coming to work for the Cowboys"
.

Bennett in the Cowboys were in talks before Henry was even thought of.
It was only that walking, talking half genius/half moron Tallis that stopped him being our head coach.
After Bennett was told "No, thanks", we got Henry as a "third prize in a beauty contest" consolation. Most overated coach in modern NRL history.
Why did Tallis stop Bennett from being coach? Whats Tallis have agaisnt bennett?
Don't they belong to Sir Les Patterson?the cobbler called, your shoes are ready
In all fairness, you officailly have no f****** idea.
Bennett has publicly stated that he wont negotiate with any club whilst they still have a coach under contract. This is the complete opposite of what you are saying.
If the clubs then want to sack their coach's then that is on them and not Bennett.
When he signed with the saints, Brown was coming off contract and they had already told him that he was not going to get a new contract. He wasn't sacked.
The situation with souths is that Lang told them last year that he was not interested in coaching next year. This is also the last year of his deal.
As someone also posted, Henjak offered his resignation last year but cullen didn't accept it. The new CEO has obviously different plans to cullen and has decided he needs to go. There is no evidence that Bennett has had talks with the Broncs.
