How good is this guy when he goes looking for the ball. In the second half he really got the team going. He is wasted in the second row. There all he does is take it up, with ball in hand this guy creates more oppourtunities than anybody else in the team. He can put a man through a hole, go through one himself or bust the line. Next year this guy has to be in the number 13 AND CAPTAIN. He is of rep standard and if he stays injury free higher honours beckon!

Back to his best really. I would certainly be considering him for lock next season. Its so good to have a player of his talent in the side and to have him firing again. Last season he struggled with injuries but he's over them now and we've got the old benny back.

3 years ago I tipped him to be a future Australian captain. If he had stayed injury free and was playing in a more successful side I have no reason to believe he wouldnt be closer to achieving that!

I predicted NSW , but I dont know about Australian Captain. When you look around at the likes of Hindmarsh & Fitzgibbon hes probably just 1 step below, but still one of the best backrowers going around.

He has a lethal left foot step it works for him so well. I agree he is wasted in the second row because the prime function of a second rower is to carry the call forward and make metres he is better suited to lock as there he can throw a good pass and can kick when he needs to. Even in the second row he stlll looks really comfortable its great to see him over his injuries and back to his best breaking the line with that step. If he keeps this form for the rest of the season and carries it over to next season given that he doesnt require any off seaso surgery that will bugger up his pre-season then he will be a bolter for origin and a certainty for City.

The G is for GOLD! This guy has always been one talented SOB. I remember his debut off the bench for Balmain in either 99 or 00. I knew then he was going to be a gun. Saved a try for us in the in goal at Leichhardt. Played a cracker.
