Best "Evil" Character in a film

Well, who do you rate as the best of the worst? There are so many styles to consider but here goes..

My top 3 are
Longshanks in Braveheart - Decisive, brutal and logical. A character I hated so much I liked him
Hannibal Lector - Silence of the Lambs. One word - chilling.
T1000 in Terminator 2 - no comment needed.

I also thought that Phillip Seymour Hoffman was brilliant as Davian in Mission Impossible 3 - his calm delivery and cold, subtle manner was perfect .

Definately the T1000 in Terminator 2. An unstoppable (almost) machine hunting you down, day and night...

Not your typical evil character, but he still sort-of fits the bill (at least IMO):

Gordon Gecko - Wall Street

Darth Vader and Hannibal Lector would have to be two of the best if not the two best evil characters ever created.
