Yeh im going for FOO, purely on the back of its longivity and being such a great horse for so long

but moffo, your question said "at the moment"

Eremein would smash all of these horses from 2000m upwards

he would even go close to beating them all over 1600m

he is the WFA star, no worries

 true, i was getting sentimental.

i guess a better question would be, which of the above do you think will end up winning the most prize money?

Redoutes Choice is the best horse in Australia at the moment.(Is Rock of Gibraltor in the country?)
The people that pay the $$$ are voting for Redoutes at the Easter sale.
Leica Falcon might be the best horse in the country.
Has to come back well but they've been patient with him after a tough first campaign.
Heard he's been in work and is back having a spell for a spring assault.
Maybe Eremein is the horse of the autumn.
My two cents worth anyway.

I went fields as well but that list highlights on thing - we don't have a champion at the moment

No Diva
No Sunline
No Northerly

The better question is who is the next one?

If Eremein wins tomorrow, you have your answer :)

Whilst out and about this morning, I caught a bit of chat on 2ky about Eremein. They were talking about the class of horse that had been good 3 year olds and then came out and won good races as 4 years.

Not to many have come out and dominated WFA as a 4 year old. Some big names were mentioned, Might and Power being one.

Whilst I think the WFA ranks aren't the strongest at the minute, Eremien is certainly the one at the top. And he has the potnetial to become one of the big names of the turf. He'll be hard to beat in the Spring.

Being a gelding too, he's got plenty of racing in him yet. He's a good strong type and will win a lot more G1's yet.

If he dominates the real "spring" carnival I will agree but still a long way to go yet.

Don't get me wrong he is very impressive

I think he will dominate it.

He's the best WFA permormer around right now. Lad of the Manor is one that is around that was giving the Diva a run for her money in a few starts and I think Eremein is a lot better than Lad.

They are talking about the Cox Plate-Melborune Cup double for him. And Bossy thinks he can do it. He'd know better than most.

When ever a horse is dominating there is always a query on what they are beating. How strong is the opposition etc etc. Fact is you can only beat whats around and it all reads the same in the history books.

As long as the horse takes on the best and wins. Too many horses in my opinion get a champion tag and they don't deserve it.

The best examples of this the past few years are horses like Tie the Knot, Lonhro, they both took on the best and really only cut it here in sydney.

And if you want to be the best WFA you have to win a Cox Plate as not too many nags win it, Savabel would be the only exception the the past few years.
