Ok so I've thrown back a couple of beers tonight and reflecting on the fact that I'm getting old lol. Was thinking about some of the random nights I've had out on the piss and damn there has been a few, some of which I can't really talk about haha but was just wondering what everyone else has had (that you can remember!)
For mine - I was over in Bali first trip overseas in 2010. Had been throwing back the bintangs on the beach all day and grabbed a feed then headed to legian pub for a couple more. Was having drinks with my bro and family friends for a few hours before my bro goes "hey Matt is that Reni Maitua sitting at the bar?". I have a look inside but I'm pretty messed up and can't tell so my bro being the overconfident kid he is goes in. 10 mins later he comes out and says "it fkn is and he told you to come and say hi being a dogs fan!" So I walked in and had a chat to him. He wanted to come back to us when his ban was over and was a top top bloke. He said to us we are welcome to come to sky garden with him that night if we wanted to. Being the stubborn taurean that I am I decided nah I wanna go to bounty again (after a few successful nights in a row and locing the place...). So I'm sitting in there by myself thinking wtf why did I do this. Having a smoke and checking out this 11/10 Aussie chick in front of me and drooling in my state. Nek minit she turns around and walks over to me and asks for a smoke. As if I was gonna say no to that, especially when they are $1.50 a pack. But she is nice, looks a bit familiar but it doesn't click to me...she was so nice, instead of just bumming the smoke and walking off she is like "where in Australia are you from?" And I said syd. She goes oh me too! Northern beaches! We get in a 2 hour long convo about everything. What we've done in Bali how much we love it what we do at home. She gets her 8 hot chick friends to come over eventually so makes my decision not to hang out with a first grade footballer a masterpiece by myself. Anyway we get to the point of trading names and email addresses (who has a phone number in Bali?). I write down my name and email on a ripped off beer coaster and then she writes down hers and gives to me. Name - Clare Werbeloff. I'm like WTF!! Look at her straight again and immediately recognize her as the chk chk boom girl from the news. Nearly fell off my stool. Just been talking to this chick for hours on end and she is this!! Another hour after that and i had photo propf to take back to my mates and all. Wtf how does this happen! Anyway we hung out a couple of nights after that but ended up losing contact. One of the most memorable nights ever, and there have been plenty of them! Could probably write a book about my 20-present (26) years haha.
Any of you guys had any nights like this worth mentioning?
