Best player of the Decade.

Who do you think has been our most impressive player of the decade?

Naturally I would have said SBW, but the way he dogged us (no pun intended) counts against him imo.

Hazem makes a convincing argument simply due to the fact that he's been with the team for essentially this whole decade and has been a very consisent producer.

I would, however, go with Shifty Sherwin. At his best, he was awesome for us. What a wonderful halfback. In his day had the best short kicking game in the NRL. His understanding and connection with Hazem was legendary. Was criminal that he never played Origin.

Sherwin comes into the equation. As do Hazem and the General. It's hard to split those 3 IMO.

Best Bulldog of the decade? For loyalty and guts, could never go past Luke Patten.

If we talking the decade, then it is between Patten & El Magic and for the sheer amount that Hazem achieved, i would just give him the edge.

Yeah Patten's a pretty good candidate as well.

Seems like he's been around forever yet he's still only 29 years old.

Patten won three consecutive POTY awards from memory until Bobcat took it out last year. I'd go him over Haz over Bobcat.

SBW would rate but he didn't stick around long and spent alot of time injured. He's probably the most skilful player the club had this decade though.

Mason would rate too tbh

Has to be The General. It's no coincidence that 2008 ended so poorly while he was injured. (Or last year's Prelim for that matter!)

El Masri just pips Patten for mine. The clubman aspect wins it for me. Pats was a dirty Dragon & Steeler initially
