I'd like to know everyones favourite most memorable raiders games and why?
I'll start with the obvious, 1989 grand final.
Greatest grand final of all time. What else is there to say about it..

besides the winning years id have to say a few years back, we played the cowboys and with only a few mins remaining Phil Graham intercepted a ball on his goal line and raced away for the win.

The Manly game when the Super Mac combo debuted.
Toots injury game.
Mals record points haul vs the Roosters
03 vs Roosters, 03 Warriors semi, and 94 Semi v Dogs, even though we lost all three

What year and what round was that Manly match played Ed? I remember watching it i think it was '98? I've been trying to get hold of that game for ages.

1994 GF. Never has a side played so well on the big day. Unlike the Broncos in 1998, the Dogs were favourites against us and we gave them a lesson that would still hurt.

There are some others:

32-0 v Dogs in 2001
48-16 v Broncos in 2001
Last game of 2003 regular season v Dogs at Homebush.

The 94 grand final is one of the most entertaining grand finals iv'e ever seen. So many players played well and Mal scoring the last try of the match made it that much more sweet. We had an incredible side 94

I fully don't remember that.

The 2003 comeback win at Penrith was great. Plenty of games back in 1994-1995 but I can't remember specifics.

Ones that stick in my memory:

Going way back, beating Souths and St George in 1982 as our best wins of the initial season.
Thrashing Penrith in a do or die game to make the finals in 1984.
The 1987 Prelimary Final.
A 40-4 slaughter of Easts in 1988.
1989 GF of course.
A comeback from 6-16 v Canterbury in 1991 in the last 5 min, featuring a Mal sidelne conversion to win it.
1994 GF, and a smashing of the Dogs down here earlier in the season.

Too many great matches in our glory days......

In recent years the one that sticks out is the Cowboys game where we defended for long periods, and the turning point in Carney's career occured.

I won like $250 bucks on that game!...Great year.

other personal favourites:

95 Vs Knights with Mullins scoring 4 tries
94 Vs saints when Nagas scored that 99 metre try
94 or 93 (not sure) Vs Norths...Stuart with the greatest chip n chase ever
..oh and what about Chip n Chase by mullins/this could be a miracle...IT IS A MIRACLE 95 vs Broncos 24-0.
Daley Mullins n Furners 1st farewell game at Bruce Vs Roosters-the rainbow at the end.
Daley Mullins n Furners 2nd farewell game at Bruce Vs Panthers (Semi final)
89 GF of course
91 semis Vs Manly when we blew em off the park with pace n power. Gary Coyne scoring 4 tries
90 semi Vs Brisbane....We won 30-4 I think it was...to get into the GF.
2002 Vs Warriors where we won it on the bell through McLinden.

Not a classic by any means but early 1990 when we spiked Easts 66-4 after we had scored 9 points in our previous 2 outings against Canterbury & Cronulla.

Also from 1990 tearing the Broncos a new one after getting touched up by the Panthers in the semi.

1994 GF for obvious reasons, never in doubt from the kick off who was on and who was off. Strange feeling never being tense watching a Grand Final. From Munsters knock on it was feet up, beers cold, and enjoy the ride.

One of the best I've been to was 93 or 94 I think when we played the Broncos in a semi at Lang Park and won 14-6 if my memory serves me correctly. It was a great game and the atmosphere was awesome. Brad Clyde had a blinder and a scored a try. It was a truly great win.

Ah geez, so many memories :D

Some of my personal faves:

* 89 GF - duh

* Always forget the year (must have been 94), but when Mullins did his double chip-and-chase/regather... plus to hold the Broncos to zip, 26-0 and a packed Bruce was rocking... oh yeah those were the days!

* 94 Major Semi v Dogs (lost 18-19 in ET) is one of the most complete games of football you'll ever see, both sides. Daley and Stuart missed 7 FG shots between them though...

* 98 Mac Debut, down 20-2 v Manly to win 26-20 on the buzzer. Was it McFadden or McLinden that scored the winner?

* Our only win in Melbourne ever, 20-16 in 2000 with the Volcano scoring a double and it got us into the finals

* 2001, despite being a sh*t year, had some great wins - but yeah beating the eventual grand finalists the Warriors 38-30 when no-one gave us a chance, Macca from the scrum and then Wiki in the corner :D that one stands out! I wasn't there and I don't have Fox but the radio coverage was incredible, the commentators went ballistic. Nearly drove off the road

* Roosters loss 16-20 in 2003, Warriors semi loss 16-17 same year. Defensive toughness stands out like a sore thumb doesn't it? How we had such a fearsome side defensively I'll never know.

* All the golden point wins - Carney's one probably the most important for our future

*

That was 1995.
