Best Round Yet?

Hey dudes,

Is it just me or was the last round of the Super 14 the best round yet?

The Chiefs played some great Rugby against the Reds, and the forward
Battle was great. But the skill of the Chiefs backs was remarkable.

Brumbies actually looked like they had some direction around the field,
George Gregan's best game in the last year, Burnie running the ball and
George Smith was everywhere.

Waratah's were good, great to see Matt Rogers back. Lote broke his duck.
Our scrum and line out were working well, our pick and drive was the best I have seen in two years. Not taking anything away from the Sharks, they looked great and I am continually being impressed with the state of SA Rugby, especially with the No.9 from the Sharks Ruan Pienaar, the kid
Should be the No.9 for the Boks.

The Crusaders showed again that against them you have to play a solid 80 minutes to even get close to beating them. If Richie McCaw is not the best flanker in the world at the moment, I’ll dead-set turn it up.

And last but defiantly not least continuing on from my earlier comments about SA rugby, of the Cheetahs 4th game in the comp to beat the top of the table team is a massive achievement.
They have shown the Western Farce how a new club show be playing, with
Heart and a tone of mongrel.

Johnny,

Super Rugby always starts slowly. IMHO the competition starts too early in the year, it's still hot here when it starts, too hot for Rugby, anyway.

The best is yet to come, for sure. Waratahs vs Brumbies, and both Aussie sides against the Crusaders and the Blues.......all the NZ sides actually.

I love the fact you say both Aussie sides as if there are only two.... disowning the Reds and Force already are we?

No, I am simply pointing out the obvious, which is that the big clashes have not happened yet. The Brumbies and the Waratahs were always going to be the big Aussie teams, weren't they? That is not to take anything away from the Force and the Reds, who are either in their first season, or in a re-building season, respectively.

You read it here first. Australia will win the Bled, and the Tri-Nations.

The Brumbies haven't even played the draw card sides yet. So expect a few more good rounds.
