How does one team get a six over powerplay and the other only get 3?

This DLS target makes no sense.

I thought the same at first too. They basically have to score the same as Perth did in 3 less overs, despite the fact Perth lost 4 wickets. I think it's because they take into account Perth would have scored faster had they known the overs would be reduced.

Still, not much of a reward for good bowling.

CA showed what they think of the BBL be playing a random ODI series in India.
Perhaps we could invite India over here for an ODI series during the IPL where they've gotta bring their best. I'm sure that will be received just as well.
